Academic Professional Development

Academic Professional Development programming supports faculty and academic staff at key career stages—from entry to promotion, through late career and retirement—helping them build meaningful professional and personal lives while contributing to MSU’s mission.

Leadership Professional Development

A range of skills and responsibilities are critical to administrative roles, which commonly involve a blend of leadership, management, and service.  These skills and responsibilities will form the foci for training and mentoring and will be available in a variety of formats.  We focus on both enhancing the success of current leaders and cultivating future leaders at MSU.

Awards & Recognition

The faculty of Michigan State University possess great underlying strengths that are recognized at every level – internationally and nationally, locally and internally. Such honorifics elevate the stature of the university’s intellectual work to national and global prominence and foster a community of scholars with high standards and aspirations. These awards recognize the outstanding accomplishments, achievements, and contributions of our exceptional researchers, educators, and community members and bring great pride to the institution.
