The discussion will focus on how private foundations work, what they fund, and best practices for securing funding. MSU faculty will share their successful experiences applying for foundation funding and discuss how the process differs from applying for federal grants. Participants will learn about the resources available at MSU to help them get started with securing private foundation funding for their research and creative pursuits.
