NIH Specific Aims Peer Review Workshop

Participants in this workshop will receive feedback from peers and MSU Research Development Specialists to help them revise a draft of their Specific Aims page. Participants will be placed in groups of three and will both give and receive feedback to improve their Specific Aims page with two other participants in the workshop, as well as from Research Development Specialists Lauren Aerni-Flessner and Sara Steenrod. The feedback received will be discussed as a group.

Intended audience: MSU and HFH faculty and researchers preparing to apply for NIH funding. Participation is limited to a small group to ensure meaningful engagement and feedback.

Lauren Aerni-Flessner, Ph.D. and Sara Steenrod, Ph.D. are Research Development Specialists in MSU’s Office of Research & Innovation. They provide a variety of services, including individual and small group consultations, grant writing webinars, writing groups, and grant editing to help faculty develop competitive grant proposals for federal funding agencies.
