A Webinar Series for Academic Specialists
In this series, academic specialists will learn how the reappointment, award of continuing status, and promotion processes for specialists are related to their unique roles at MSU. In a series of four one-hour virtual webinars, Kelly Hodges, Director of Faculty Development and Mentoring Programs in the College of Human Medicine and member of the Academic Specialist Advisory Committee (ASAC), will talk about the components of a successful dossier, the timeline and workflow of the review year, and strategies for staying on track to a successful review.
Following the webinar series, join us in May for an in-person workshop for specialists looking for feedback on materials as they prepare for the review process, in the 2024-25 review cycle or beyond.
Whether you are new to MSU and the specialist system or have been in your specialist role for several years, it’s never too early to think about the specialist review process. Please join us for one or more of these events!
